Amelia's 1 year

This past weekend was a hit or miss weather wise so I was thankful that Allison was flexible, willing and able to push up our appointment time for fear of rain. .. but as luck would have it, it did not rain at all until later that afternoon.

Better safe than sorry, right?

I must say that Amelia wasn't feeling her best but she pressed through, so we were able to grab some sweet photos for her one year session.

She is already walking!  Now that she has discovered her new found independence, she loves exploring every chance she gets.

Of course, at the end of the session, it is customary to celebrate with cake!!  I do think Amelia earned it for this session's go around.

Happy Birthday sweet Amelia!  I know it was a good one for sure!!

Nina's 8 Month

I honestly can't say enough sweet things about Amy and the Uffinger family.  She has truly been an amazing, beautiful, loving and heartfelt client of mine over the past several years. Amy continues to send her amazing friends and family my way for their photo sessions and she has had me document her milestones in life.

Engagement, wedding, Max's first year and now Nina's first year!!

Nina is now eight months and I am loving every moment I have with her in front of the camera.  She is always as cute as a button.  Today was no different, she was wearing an adorable little floral cotton romber that fit her perfect!

Ofcourse, don't get me started on Amy's wardrobe.  I absolutely was drooling over her beautiful wrap skirt!!

I must say that we lucked out with the weather.  I would have never known it was so awful just the day prior and of course, tomorrow will be just as bad they say.

April showers bring May flowers!!  Spring is in full force.

The Barber Family

I met with the Barber family over the weekend. It's always so great to see them.  We have known one another for several years now as my dad and the Barber family have been doing business together for many years. We love a good Chevy, so we must give credit to the one and only Dewey Barber Chevrolet Dealership..

I only put the pieces to the puzzle after our first photo session together that I had known this family prior to our photo session which was roughly 8 years ago.. so I am always grateful to hear from Ali when it is time for some updated family shots.

The girls are all growing up.  Riley is now a senior at Gardendale High and the youngest, Savannah is a sophomore and Gracie, isn't soo little anymore.  She is six years old now!!

These guys looked perfect and I loved the soft colors against the white washed wall.  I thought it was a great fit to their keen sense of fashion.

Needless to say, they are always a lot of fun to capture and I couldn't have been happier with ending the weekend with some awesome clients!!
